I was going to do a poll, I may yet still do it if I get enough comments, but here is what I was thinking of making and then everyone could try one or all, now all of the pictures are not up on my photobucket, but you can do a google or whatnot to see pictures of it....

At the request of Haplo, I will be making Cinnamon Rolls, kinda, sorta based on Cinnabon. Triple Chocolate Bavarois --- (do a google, and you will see) and Tiramisu.  I will double the recipe of the cinnamon rolls and tiramisu only.  The Bavarois will be made in a 8" or 10" cake pan.

I am not sure of the location of the baking, most likely at my Con house or TehClub Con House (has to be approved), I have been offered a Kitchen Aid mixer (Thank you Xly, I intended to take you up on your offer!).  If I can get a hold of my chef's cookie recipe, I will make those as well.

Also several other people have offered to either help and/or bake with me.  I like this idea very much and you are welcome.  I really do plan on doing this on Sunday morning, I will probably doing the shopping after Sushi on Friday, if nothing else is planned.

If you have suggestions to replace any of the above, I am opening to suggestions.

Hey all,

This weekend has been a good and bad one, the good is that I had my school orientation and this is REAL!!!! I will be going to culinary school.  But I did have second thoughts about which program that I am entering.  I just want to COOK you know?  Don't get me wrong, I love the baking aspect of it, in fact, baking is one of my passions...but I also want to do savoy as well.  One of the people who was helping me carry all of my "crap" to my car had mentioned that they had vegan students, who had others tasting their foods....that got me to thinking...maybe I could do that after I finish the baking program, but do I want to carry another 45K loan? In addition to the ones that I am carrying now? Since, baking is my passion, I will take this one step at a time.

Who knows, if I meet a sugar daddy (LAWL), maybe *he* could finance that aspect....NOT! :D

All the crap that I got were, 5 uniforms....coats, pants, hats, neckerchiefs, aprons and towels, a pair of shoes and what felt like 50lbs of books! Also like a tiny luggage carryon bag of a tool kit!



The bad, my uncle has been removed from life support today, I don't want to talk about it too much....just to say that I am sad about it, but my main concern are my mother and my grandmother.....to have a child go before the parent I believe is the worse pain in the world and my grandmother, with her heath....this will not be good.

Please keep my family in your prayers.

I didn't do an international map because I have basically only been to 3 countries: England, Switzerland (Airport) and Italy....I will expand it most likely in 2010 when I go on my trip to Germany with my best friend.

So I've decided that I need some new icons....

but I need to look upon the face of all the nummy men that I love...namely  BRENDAN FRASER so just be prepared for some of my favorite images of him.  *God* that man is so damn lickable.
 

Some of you know that the mention of any combination of Charlie and Candy Mountain sends me into uncontrollable spasms of despair.

So these two above images, I want combined some how into a tattoo, the knot has to surround the violet skull some how....

I've wanted a tattoo for so long and I always wanted my letters as my tattoo, but I have changed my mind about the letters, but this symbol on the top is very significant to my fellow Sigmas and I love all things celtic...I don't see why I shouldn't combine both of them.  But I also want to small to medium and top middle part of my back.  If I could find someone to design it and it would look good and possibly figure out a way to get purple on my skin tone, I would love it.

This is going to happen very, very soon!

Sometimes I hate crossroads....

But I think I may have found a solution to both finding a new place to live and keeping my primary job that I absolutely love.

Ok...

Here's the deal.  I have a 2nd job, as most of you know....or maybe not.

I hate the place, I used to be basically happy there, but no longer.  I also opened the place 8 years ago and would like to stay there for 10 years, problem is, that is no longer going to happen anymore.  I worked Friday night (can we all say EWW to High School Musical on Ice II?...yes cry for me) and the new policies and procedures manual for the 2007/08 season was handed out.  Turns out that my department has taken a page from a different department and we are required to work for days a week.  Not really a big deal, except that my primary job is off the 405 freeway and if anyone is familiar with this parking lot, it is pretty much impossible for me to get to my 2nd job on time!  Hey on Fridays, I get off of work (primary) at 2:30 and it takes me 2 hours to get to the 2nd job! Not to mention they've moved all the parking for us peons to BumFuckEgypt and will take us 20 minutes to walk (they got rid of the shuttles).  So now I only work 2 days a week, which was fine because that was the twelve hours they required...see they got sneaky and changed the language from hours to days...... I can get to work at 6:30 on Mondays no problem, its the other days that worry me, except Saturdays.

The BIG problem is during the summer, my primary job hours change from M-Th 8:30-5:00, F 8:30-2:30 to, M-Th, 8:30-6:00, Fridays - Closed.  It really doesn't matter that the 2nd job is pretty much dead during the summer, except for WNBA and concerts, they will either fire me or force me to quit.  I'm thinking they want me to quit, they have been attempting to get the old people (there from the beginning) out of the place.  It doesn't matter that my department has a high turnover rate and they would want established reliable (or in my case, almost reliable...I'm being honest..cause I do hate the place) employees, they don't want to pay us AT ALL. My department is the 2nd highest paid, next to Security, we are also Union...There was a HUGE scandal/shake up/firing a few months ago, I'm talking the Head the Department (the guy who hired me), major department head at a professional sports team (that the company owns ...and as an aside if my dad had gone straight instead of making a right turn, in the city I grew up in, a guy I would have gone to high school with) and peons like me (but not me).

I need a second job, I don't think I could get one where I could possibly work only weeknights, have my weekends and possibly go back to school  So even though I hate my 2nd job, it has its advantages, not a lot be some; I could probably put up with a little more Bullshit that they dish, in order to get paid and go to school

Wow, this is a novel, but as you can see...I'm a bit confused, relived and sorta happy and very sad.
